The science of behavior has a long distinguished history not only providing evidence of environment-behavior relations, but also discussing the subsequent implications. One of the fundamental underpinnings of behavior analysis is that behavior determined. Therefore, the concept of free will is incompatible with the evidence and theory of why organisms behave. In this episode of ABA on Call, we discuss free will and determinism and how each is regarded within behavior analysis.
