In episode #10 of “ABA On Call,” Dr. Rick Kubina, BCBA-D and Dr. Doug Kostewicz, BCBA-D revisit an article written in 1992 – a special issue in American Psychologist that commemorated B.F. Skinner after his death.
“Fundamentals of B.F. Skinner’s Behaviorism” reviews all of the different aspects of Skinner’s behaviorism, and although there are many elements to the renowned publication, the duo reflect on the purpose of science and how (when applied correctly) can lead to how we can holistically engineer a better society, the crucial role that environment has on the control in behavioral science, and behavioral determinism.
